Phelps is a Living Legend

Michael Phelps winning his 8th Gold Medal winning the 400 meter relay race leading the USA swim team and himself forever immortalized in Glory.  He eclipsed Mark Spitz's seven-gold performance at the 1972 Munich Games, an iconic performance that was surpassed by a swimmer fitting of this generation: a 23-year-old from Baltimore who loves hip-hop music and texting with his buddies.

Michael Phelps is Aqua Man!!!

Michael Phelps is their anything we can't say enough about him, he's legendary, he's the fastest guy underwater.  You know what I think, seriously the only thing he probably can't do is talk to fish underwater, and maybe he can do that too.  I think he's Aqua Man.  He's broken records and set records, and then he brakes his own records, its crazy.  He has 8 medals in the Olympics right now 6 gold and 2 bronze, he has more than Half of the United States Gold Medals, and under a quarter of the United States total medals overall right now.  He's like Michael Jordan except he swims and like M.J., M.P., is like no other probably a once in a lifetime legend. its not that he's just winning the competition he's smashing the competition by having huge leads leaving no room for any come back, or if he's not leading he's coming back in the last lap like Jordan in the 4th quarter.  He's got world records in all of these events

25 (200m freestyle, 100m and 200m butterfly, 200m and 400m individual medley, 4x100m freestyle relay, 4x100m medley relay, 4x200m freestyle.

Team USA Fire's back at Greece

The USA team avenges their loss from the previous Olympic tournament when they lost to Greece 101-95 by keeping a nice comfortable lead over the Greece team blowing them out in by 23 winning 92-69.  When the USA team wasn't scoring they were swatting the shots that Greece was trying to throw up, so it sounds like it was a dunk fest on top of a block party.  According to guard Dwayne Wade "We played like we wanted to win. We played together," U.S. guard Dwyane Wade said. "We were very aware of their offensive sets, we were very aware of their personnel and we played like that. So we were kind of a step in front of what they wanted to do because we kind of knew everything already." The Americans found their range from 3 point seeing that the Greek's were in a zone defense for most of the game.

Lebron James had 13 points, Carmelo Anthony chipped in with 8 points, Kobe Bryant had 18, Dwayne Wade came off the bench with 17 points and Chris Bosh as well added in 18 points, teams high scores.  The USA Basketball team is now 3-0 and is facing a greater challenge in World Champion Spain. Which moves on to a matchup of Group B unbeatens Saturday night against world champion Spain. The winner will earn the group's top seed for the quarterfinals.

USA beats Angola now 2-0

USA team easily takes care of Angola winning 97-76 Espn Analysts report that USA could've easily made the score look much worse than it does but the team smartly decided to put it in cruise control and coast to win the rest of the way, saving themselves up for their next opponent, a rematch with Greece is up and due for them now. The Americans (2-0) moved on to face Greece, the team that stunned them two years ago in the semifinals of the world championship. Two days later comes a matchup with Spain, the team that won that tournament and is also 2-0 in this one after rallying to beat China in overtime behind 29 points from Pau Gasol. Espn analyst say that USA is gonna have tougher teams to face in spain and other teams that have Talented players and a few of their own NBA players. But hey no one ever said it'd be easy.

USA takes it to China

Yeah it was said that this would be a big game, although I was thinking more along the lines of a double overtime thriller, thats a big time game, but the U.S.A. Team did what they were supposed to do win and establish total dominace over their opponent. So big Ups to them they beat China 101-70
