Let Manny Be Manny!!!

This in recent news as some of you baseball fans may have heard is that the Boston Red Sox are
clearly thinking and considering trading Left Fielder Manny Ramirez.  Me personally I don't know why a team would trade away one of their best if not thee best hitter and fielders on their team.  Here's his 2008 stats; Batting Average is .299, Home Runs 20, his on base percentage is .398. Doesn't make sense, he's batting 300, he's hit 20 home runs, 68 RBI's (runs batted in) and they want to trade him?  This whole thing makes no sense because he's clearly their best hitter, he's really stepped his game up in the Absence of Big Home Run threat David Ortiz and the Red Sox have a good record right now making a push for the pennent.  My whole conception on trading players in any sport is trading a couple of your guys that are not as productive, or have alot of potential for latter years, in return you get someone that can instantly produce and make and impact for your team in that same season and for more seasons to come.  Manny Ramirez has been a major factor in the Red Sox line up in the 2 times they've won the World Series back in 2004 and then again in 2007, not saying he's the whole team, but he is a big piece of the championship puzzle that is the Boston Red Sox, clearly he's not happy with the whole situation as to why the upper management would even consider doing such a thing, he's happy in boston he loves the fans, but clearly the relationship with him an management is not so good, so they may trade him, we'll see how this plays out and if this affects the Red Sox's chances of repeating this year.  I think it will should they trade him.
